This is a sneak preview of the next must have phone from the
combined boffins of Sony and Ericsson the Z1010 their first real 3G
phone is also a style hit with the full range of features seen in
the T68i and most of the P900's tricks.

The diminutive Z1010 also adds a 400% VGA zoom with a basic
resolution of 480 x 640 pixels, Sony memory stick duo storage,
inbuilt Bluetooth / IrDA and a windows look and feel explorer tool
for managing files. The Twin digital cameras offer some interesting
possibilities in videophone calls with one mounted below the screen
and one in the clam shell, Sony Ericsson have also added an MPEG4
player to the MP3 player seen on earlier phones.
Featuring 2 screens the Z1010 has a main display with 65K colours
and a grey scale status display is located on the front panel to
show caller ID and the time.
Files captured by the cameras can be sent via MMS or emailed with
the 3G connectivity and also stored on the supplied memory stick duo
which is widely expected to be at least 32mb.
The Bluetooth capability of the Z1010 is enhanced with a class 3
chip giving up to a 100 meter range (conditions allowing) this
should prove useful for connections with suitably equipped laptops.
