Sony Ericsson are set to change all this with the HBH-600 Bluetooth Headset with express on covers so you can change your Bluetooth device to match your mood. Before we start sounding like some kind of marketing blurb lets take a look at the functions available on the HBH-600.

The HBH-600 builds on the functionality of the HBH-65 weighing just 23 grams and giving a range of 10 meters the headset supports both hands free and headset profiles and will work with a wide variety of phones not just the Sony Ericsson range. The major changes are style and comfort based the HBH-600 comes with 2 express on or as SE call them "style Up" covers or you can purchase a pack of 6 that go from orange to lurid green. The ear loop is much improved offering better fit and long term comfort as well as supporting a more varied ear size.

The other key specifications are the same as the HBH-65 with talk time of approx 2.5hrs and Standby of 72hrs with a 3hr rapid charge from flat.

The Sony Ericsson HBH-600 Bluetooth Headset is the start of a new "Akono" range of equipment which brings the style of mobile peripherals into view and they clearly hope that this will win them greater market share in a difficult sector.
