Logitech Trackman Wheel

After hours of hard work on Lordpercy.com it is quite likely that our hands start to ache this is not just a slight worry but quite a serious issue, many companies are taking RSI (repetitive strain injury) very seriously and I'm sure you'll have seen if not been issued with wrist pads and better designed keyboards.

Logitech Trackman WheelThe Logitech trackman wheel offers a different take on pointer control, while the traditional mouse has improved rapidly with the better designs and a more shaped form it is still poorly suited to long term use.

Logitech's trackman wheel offers a trackball mouse combination with highly accurate pointer control and 3 programmable buttons. Using a Trackball takes a bit of getting used to but once mastered its quicker and more comfortable, the Logitech's layout is excellent and fits the hand ergonomically, this right hand version allows your thumb to control the pointer and fingers to operate the three buttons.

We have to be honest and say that it took quite a while for us to chose to use the Trackman over an optical mouse, but the sheer reduction in scooting a mouse around over the desk persuaded us to swap over.

Unlike a mouse using the Logitech Trackman wheel for long periods does not strain the wrist muscles as much and feels all together more comfortable, plus the speed and accuracy of control makes game play quicker and smoother.

Trackballs aren't everyone's cup of tea but if your mouse fingers are aching and your wrist feels stiff after a surfing session it might be worth trying an alternative, the Logitech Trackman Wheel is under £30 and for our money a good alternative to the common mouse.
