The latest Motorola Bluetooth headset the HS820 utilises the latest
Bluetooth 1.2 standard giving clearer call quality, improved
frequency hopping and a more robust
signal, the 20 gram headset will sit comfortably on either ear and
proved a good companion for a long drive.
Unlike so
many Bluetooth
headsets the Motorola HS820 had a good standby of 100 hours and a
talk time of 6 hours which should be plenty for even the busiest of
motorway users who would normally drain a HBH-65 in a few hours. The
10 meter range allows for your mobile phone or other Bluetooth
equipped audio device to be safely tucked away or in another room
while you remain connected, the HS820 can also cope with multiple
Bluetooth connections allowing you to swap between phones easily out
of the 8 that the device can be paired with.
The audio quality of the new Motorola HS820 is a real improvement
on the HS810 with much clearer call quality and less background hiss
than its cousin. Wearing the Motorola HS820 is a pleasant experience
during LP's drive to work the headset felt light and not quite as
rigid as his usual HBH-35, also there is enough room to place the
loop over the ear and still wear sunglasses.
Its good to look at too, no weird in ear slug that makes other
people think you've got some animal attached to the side of your
head, the HS820 looks like a headset and follows in the recent moto
styling with a nice indicator light that shows the status of the
headset.
The Package comes complete with a charger quick start guide and a
manual , after the initial charge you'll be wire free for a good
6hrs of calls, priced at £40 it's good value too and with the UK
police cracking down on those who still drive phone in hand its
cheaper than the fine!
