Treading the
tightrope between physical size and storage with the Mini MP3 Player
Reviews

 |
iPod Touch Review An MP3 player based on the
phenomena that is the iPhone sounds like a good idea and indeed
it is. A stunning user interface and great iPod functions. Just
a shame that Apple think you should pay through the nose for its
new baby.

Sony NWZA818 Review This players not for sheep,
would it surprise you to learn that there is another way? Sony's
latest small MP3 player has a lot to do to persuade us that its
a viable challenger to the iPod, does it pull it off?

3rd Generation iPod Nano Ok so the new iPod Nano may have got a bit
more stout but it still deserves great respect as it like the
rest of us shows some middle aged spread. We check out the 3rd
Gen iPod as it hits the UK shelves.

 |
iRiver S10 Review The iRiver S10 may be as small as an iPod
shuffle but they manage to endow it with a 1.15" OLED screen and
multi-codec playback all for just twenty pounds more. Not bad
but what is it like to live with everyday?

 |
Cowon iAudio F2 Cowon's new MP3 player has dynamic
matrix controls, whatever they are? Luckily it is also
unbelievably small and more like a stylised mobile phone than a
boring old MP3 player. We test Cowon's latest 2gb offering to
see if it is more then a glitch.

Oracom UB-890 Review What does it take to
get a foothold in the mini MP3 player market? Well if the Oracom
UB-890 is anything to go by you have to stuff it so full of
features it can barely walk. We try out the new pretender to see
if it delivers the goods.

New iPod Nano 2G No sooner had Apple announced the new
Nano we rushed down to our local Apple store to find one. The
new range topper with its 8gb memory, smooth curves and brighter
screen caught our eye and it's been the centre of attention ever
since.

Sandisk Sansa E200 Review An MP3 player of
surprising quality from a name we just didn't expect. That's the
headline on the Sansa E200 series of players which pitch
squarely up to the iPod Nano and come off quite well! We check our the big daddy the e270.

Creative Zen V Plus Creative are just weeks away from the
UK launch of their iPod Nano rival. Lordpercy.com got a sneak
peek at the chubby challenger that boasts a 4gb memory, FM
tuner, direct encode and 18 hour battery life.

Cowon iAudio 6 Review Here come the Koreans with a challenger
to the uber slim Nano. On first sight it fails the weight loss
plan but Cowon have packed the new iAudio 6 with everything
including the kitchen sink!

MobiBlu DAH-1900 As our hero Blackadder
would say, the Mobiblu DAH-1900 has a battery more capacious
than an elephants scrotum and it attracts less attention on the
Tube too.

 |
iRiver U10 Review Ok so we are a bit late on this one,
for some reason its taken months to get a U10 to the offices and
now ones arrived we're disappointed. While it's uber funky and a
pretty good MP3 player, it's pants at video and costs as much as
gambling bender with Wayne Rooney.
|
|
 |
iAudio U3 Review Cowon's latest MP3 player to arrive in
the UK is trying very hard to compete with the small form factor
units like the MPIO One and also the iPod range. However their
idea of pricing the feature packed U3 suggests it has real gold
earbuds.

Sanyo HDP M3000
Sanyo HDP M3000 Come On Down! At just £99 this 6gb player has taken us by
surprise, we expected it to be cheap and nasty but we were in
for a shock.

iPod Nano Review
Not a comeback for Mork and Mindy it's Apples
new flash based MP3 player. Thinner than a supermodel on an eggs
only diet, the new Nano makes it's UK debut and we got our mitts
on one to see how it stacks up.

 |
Archos XS100 Is a 3gb
disk a bit too simple for the educated tastes of gadget fans in
the UK? especially at £130! |
|
 |
Philips HDD084 Review It's difficult to excited by a device
that's average but when your last player was as bad as Philips
HDD070 having Lordpercy say your latest attempt is average might
be good news! |
|
 |
M:Robe MR100 The M:Robe
may have a snazzy name and snazzy darkened glass blood red
display but it takes more than that to make a good MP3 player |
|
 |
MPIO HD200 Review The MPIO HD200 looks good with support of
multiple codecs and a good form factor too but will the boy
racer "WOW SRS" effects put us off. Maybe but lets see if we get
past the manual first!. |
|
 |
Monolith MP3 Player There is always a market for bombproof
technology but it normally looks daft like the Rover Streetwise!
but the Monolith MP3 is both tough and attractive at the same
time a kind of Lara Croft audio device. |
|
 |
Rio Carbon The slayer of the Ipod Mini, Rio have another winner on their
hands it's better all round and still very stylish to boot. |
|
 |
iRiver H10 Review iRiver are late to the party with their mini MP3
player, but can the H10 make up for its delayed showing with
support for photos and a colour screen? |
|
 |
Sony NW-E99 Network Walkman Finally they have opened the door and the latest
addition to the Sony Network Walkman range the NW-E99 will have
native MP3 support as well as the proprietary ATRAC3Plus
format. But what else has the 1gb player got? |
|
 |
Zen Micro Some might say its madness to take
Apple on but that's just what Creative have done with the Zen
Micro which is firmly pitched against the Ipod Mini and you
might just be surprised at the result. |
|
 |
Aiwa HZWS2000 It seems that MP3 players have been on the
Atkins diet over the summer, the latest one to break out of
rehab is the Aiwa HZWS2000. |

Ipod Mini
Pray silence for the Apple
Ipod Mini. Its been a while getting here but the minuscule
miracle is born, Apples Ipod Mini is possibly better than its
bigger brother and on sale now! |
