Philips Camera Keyring Key008

Philips Camera Keyring Key008There are a number of low (under 1 mega pixel) cameras on the market and while the resolution may not excite you they should have another benefit, size. But so many manufacturers make the 0.3 mega pixel cameras too big Benq are prime candidates for making this mistake but not Philips they have gone for a small and stylish and in their words "wearable" camera keyring.

The Philips Camera Keyring Key008 is a 0.3 mega pixel camera which also acts as a128mb USB memory key is small enough to fit in your pocket attached to a set of keys much like any other memory stick, but this one has a simple one button system to take pictures.

The in built 550mAh lithium battery charges from a the USB 1,1 connection which is also the way to get the captured JPEG's off of the device, the VGA resolution pictures are similar to the quality of most camera phones and nothing to write home about. But the Philips Camera Keyring Key008 is more a novelty item which is great as a gift and a bit more exciting than your average memory stick and at around £80 not a bad price for its overall functionality.
