Life is tough at the top and market leaders TomTom have thrown everything at the TomTom Go 930. Every new feature, widget and gizmo but does that make it better than a SatNav a third of the price?

Can the best get better? Well possibly. We test the new TomTom Go 910, this top end offering has full street level maps of Europe and the USA plus text to speech and mobile features.

Those of you who are still running TomTom 3 Navigator and moaning about the out of date maps and poor accuracy should sit up and take note. TomTom 6 is here and has more than just new maps, it can even track your buddies.

TomTom have entered the fray for "value" SatNav systems with the brand new TomTom One. With the class leading TomTom user interface and simple A to B navigation you wont miss the extras.

TomTom RDS TMC Review

Sad news. TomTom have released a traffic option on the TomTom Go range that really disappoints. We test the new RDS - TMC system that should alert you to traffic jams.

An improved version of the tom tom mobile platform is due to hit the UK in the late spring, it's not a major overhaul but wider compatibility and improved call handling may give it the edge.

TomTom have finally updated their PDA version with the new "Core" software and like a certain Dutch beer it's just taken a little bit longer.

The last in the set for us to test and this time a 8 week long term test shows all is not well with this TomTom unit, we give it a real workout and find out where it's great and where it's sadly lacking.

TomTom have announced an all new tom tom go range and the top end unit now has a 2.5gb hard drive and Bluetooth hands free capability.

They say you should never meet your heroes because you'll be let down and that's the way we felt when we heard Tom Tom had a version 3!  but on first appearance it looks like our Sat Nav hero won't disappoint.

Ok got to promise not to go overboard on this but if you have a PDA and want in car navigation this is the doggies, possibly the best bit of PDA software on the market today, a full Satnav much easier to use than any in car supplied system at a tenth of the price.
